Mixed-Orientation Marriage: Pathways to Success

Preface

Growing up bigender and bisexual in the 60s and 70s ignited my lifelong passion for understanding gender, sexuality, and how they clash with societal expectations. This journey of self-acceptance inspires my desire to help others navigate their identities and relationships.

My writings about bisexuality, gender and mixed-orientation marriage started as journal entries on a self-help website and they were met with very positive feedback. As I continued to post in blogs and online support groups, more people said, “Mark, your positive approach to mixed-orientation relationships has been so helpful to us you should write a book.” I love that the beauty of conversation lies in its ability to adapt to the listener. Capturing that adaptability in a book presents a distinct set of challenges.  I cant have individual conversations with everyone touched by mixed-orientation relationships so writing  this free book offers a great opportunity to reach more of those who might be helped by my positive approach to mixed-orientation relationship success.

This world has  a place for all of us,bisexuals are amazing and can be  in happy relationships and marriages. I am always learning more and finding better ways to say what I want to say so this electronic version of my book  that is easy to update seems to work well.

Many people in late discovery   mixed-orientation marriages don’t understand the importance of their variations in sexuality until later in the relationship. The statistics for such late discovery mixed-orientation marriages are pretty dismal. Some believe that fewer than 1 out of 5 couples have the relationship dynamics to survive a late discovery mixed-orientation relationship. I wrote Mixed-Orientation Marriage Pathways to Success for those couples where both the husband and wife desire to stay together and who perhaps have what it takes to not only survive but have a fabulous happy life together.

Sometimes when we find the person we are most supposed to spend our life with there are differences in sexuality. This book explores ways we perhaps can transcend those differences and create happy more rewarding relationships. I hope something here helps those navigating mixed-orientation relationships to create more understanding and rewarding connections.
